Habitica is a video game to help you improve real life habits. It "gamifies" your life by turning all your tasks (Habits, Dailies, and To Do's) into little monsters you have to conquer. The better you are at this, the more you progress in the game. If you slip up in life, your character starts backsliding in the game.

Whenever you reinforce a positive habit, complete a daily task, or take care of an old To Do, Habitica immediately rewards you with Experience points and Gold. As you gain experience, you can level up, increasing your Stats and unlocking more features, like classes and pets. Gold can be spent on in-game items that change your experience or personalized rewards you've created for motivation. When even the smallest successes provide you with an immediate reward, you're less likely to procrastinate.
每當您堅持一個好習慣、完成一項每日任務、或是清除掉一項待辦事項，Habitica會馬上用經驗或金幣來獎勵您。獲得經驗後不但可以升級增加自己角色的屬性數值，還可以解鎖更多的功能，像是職業系統或是寵物系統。金幣可以用來購買裝備來提升能力，也可以購買自己用來激勵自己的個人獎勵。就算只是完成很微小的成就也可以立即得到獎賞，這讓您做事不再拖拖拉拉。
